SMN News & Notes
Are you going to SMX West? in Santa Clara? We are — and we’d love to meet you!
It’s always a treat to get out from behind the computer and meet our audiences face to face. Webcasts are a great way to deliver educational material, but they’re so different from a live in-person event. (Ask our speakers; that first webcast is always memorable.)
Search Marketing Expo conferences are a great way to network – whether through the ‘official’ networking events, or meeting someone new at lunch. It’s also the perfect opportunity to demo new products or find the right consultant or agency to help grow your search marketing.
This year, SMX West is particularly exciting, as we’ll have Steve Ballmer keynoting on Tuesday. It’s his first time addressing the search marketing audience, and it promises to be a great keynote.
Sessions, as always, include the soup to nuts of search marketing — from the basics of SMX Boot Camp to the most advanced and currently debate topics in search. Panels are carefully coordinated by industry thought leaders, so you’re not getting sales pitches, but solid, authoritative information. (Hmm… sounds like a webcast — only face-to-face.)
If you’re attending, please be sure to introduce yourself to Claire Schoen or Chris McDonnagh. See you March 2-4!
