Widely acknowledged as a top technical search-marketing expert and industry leader, he appears frequently as a top moderator and panelist at major industry conferences (as recently as August, 2007) stretching back to Search Engine Strategies in 1999. He also serves on the Search Engine Marketing Council (SEMC) with The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) as the chair of programming, officially recognized by The DMA for contributions since November 2005.
